In an agreement with the University of Miami (UM), 1Print has acquired the exclusive license to manufacture and market the 3D-printed coastal protection system SEAHIVE worldwide. This partnership paves the way for the large-scale deployment of this novel technology.
UM researchers developed the SEAHIVE concept in 2018 as part of the U-LINK project. Thanks to several grants, including from DARPA for the XReef project and an SBIR award from the US military for 1Print, the collaboration was able to move forward to scale.
